Who makes the best Thanksgiving dinner....we do!

Happy Turkey day! Thanksgiving day prep started on sunday night with the first of the pies being prepared and the mashed potato casserole - mmm kitch loves it (yes that's mashers not icing!)

Home from school and straight to work. After all with a name like kitchen i ought to know a thing or two about cooking (i've been waiting for weeks to use that joke!) A few frantic calls to papa creighton and we were under control again.

Our Makeshift turkey baster

Who know our oven even fit that much food?
Canadian Laura and New Zealander Alice...doing our part to bring people together.
Kim carves it up for us. Look at that spread - hey at least we know it was a hit with J.J.

Thankful for new friends, good food and of course wine.

Kiwis Charlie and Alice have their first piece of pumpkin pie ever. Quote from Alice "my new favourite dessert" I like that enthusiasm.

  • hey jen! Love the pics and the giant fruit! I did NOTHING to celebrate thanksgiving...at least not officially. Had a SWEET baracuda lunch on the beach on Sunday...but certainly nothing typically Canadian. I'm thinking about cracking open one of the Swiss Chalet sauce packages my sister sent me tonight...Keep on posting!

    Miss you.
