September in Wellington

Since we had been apart for half of August we had to get back to our partying ways. We only had 3 more months of living in Wellington so we started fitting in everything we want to do now. We discovered quiz nights and have never looked back. They give out free things like food and champagne!!! But we have found out we are not the best at general knowledge by finishing close to last place.

We went out on the town one night determined to win a trip to Fiji. Every dink of Midori you bought you got a ballot to enter in the draw. Our friend Katie from Seattle joined us. But after 5 Midori's each we were sad to find out that you had to be a New Zealand citizen. Good times anyway!!!

We went out to dinner with Morgan (Jen's friend from Kathmandu) and went to a historic Wellington restaurant. It has been open since the 20s and the name remains the same: "The Green Parrott". People love it so much the 'Lord of the Rings' cast party was held there. It was a shaddy/old place but were glad we had the experience!
